Biography

Keith Lane spent the first half of his career working in environmental advocacy and earning a Masters of Science degree in environmental education. It was this work that led him to the flood-devastated district of Tala in southwestern Bangladesh. While documenting submerged villages for a Bangladeshi NGO, Keith realized that photography was the most effective way for him to promote awareness and achieve change. In Bangladesh, a life-long interest became a career.

Keith is a graduate of the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies in Portland, Maine. He holds a special interest in exploring humanitarian, ecological, and social topics including the lives of those living in a post-conflict/disaster environment.
